What is Green Tea?
Many people think that green tea is herbal tea. In truth green tea is not herbal tea and it has very different functions, and benefits than that of herbal tea. Green teas come from either China or Japan, and are either pan fried or steamed. This is similar to processed tea, but very different from that of an herbal tea. Green tea is considered to be better than full processed teas because it does not go through oxidation. This basically means that the leaves are immediately harvested, then dried and rolled. Yes, green tea is still processed tea, but on the lower side of processed tea.
